Hi Choco! Thanks for your question. This listing of honey ingredients would be found in some form in just about any honey whether its organic or not. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by artificial honey, but if there is some form of "man-made" honey substitute then this list of ingredients would probably not apply.

This looks awesome for a blog. Would like also to engage in buying and selling honey for my bees for sale venture. But i don't have enough source of honey in my backyard. Anyway, thanks for the informative blog hope to read more soon.

I, too purchased a jar of Mountain Ridge Pure Raw Honey. First off, the label quoted Net Wt. as 35 oz.
When I compared it to my almost empty jar of another brand, I found that the 35 oz was really only 24 oz. The measure on the side of the jar showed 1-pt with enough space above that to add 1 cup which equalled 8oz. So that makes 3 cups at 24 oz., not 35 oz. Not only was the measure wrong, but the honey tasted as if it was blended with corn syrup. It was not the consistancy of pure honey and it certainly did not taste like pure honey. No more Mountain Ridge products for me..

Thanks for the feedback JC! Local honey from a local beekeeper is a great way to support your body as well as your local economy. We are HUGE advocates of doing just that!
